How to Delete a Web Page Using Macromedia Dreamweaver

Have you ever created a webpage that you only wanted to keep online for a certain amount of time? Here is a quick guide for deleting a webpage using Macromedia Dreamweaver.

 

 

1.      Open Macromedia Dreamweaver.

2.      Open the website (Enter the Site Definition, if necessary).

3.      Go to the Remote View of your website.

4.      Locate the webpage you would like to delete.

5.     Single click (Left Click) the webpage you want to delete.

6.     Hit the Delete button.

7.     A pop-up will appear saying Do you really want to delete the selected file(s)?. Click the Yes button.

8.      Go online and make sure the webpage has been deleted.

 

·         You may want to remove all links to this page in your website so that users are not confused when they go to a "Dead" page.

 

·         Make sure you want to delete this page before confirming the deletion!
